Common Swift
The common swift (Apus apus) is a medium-sized bird, head and upperparts dark brown, head and back feathers darker and slightly glossy. The two wings are long and narrow and sickle-shaped, and the outer sides of the primary flight feathers and the surface of the tail of the two wings have a slight copper-green luster. Tail forked. Chin and throat are off-white, slightly with light brown slender quills. Chest, belly and undertail coverts are dark brown, belly slightly with narrow off-white plumage.
