The laughing falcon (Herpetotheres cachinnans), also called the snake hawk, is a medium-sized bird of prey in the falcon family (Falconidae), distributed in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and other countries in Latin America. Inhabits glades and forest edges in tropical forests. The top of the head is white, the eye area is black, and the beak is yellow.
