Common Hill Myna
The common hill myna (Gracula religiosa) is a songbird. The body is relatively large, with a weight of 165-258g and a body length of 23-30cm. It is overall green-glossed black plumage, purple-tinged on the head and neck. It is characterized by orange-yellow wattles and trains on the side of the head, and the sexes are similar. Good at singing, loud and clear, can imitate and emit a variety of melodic tones. Often in pairs, sometimes in groups. It mainly inhabits secondary forests, evergreen broad-leaved forests, deciduous, broad-leaved forests, bamboo forests and mixed forests in low mountain hills and mountain foot plains. Addicted to eating wild fruits, and eat insects. Distributed in India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina Peninsula and China.
