Long-tailed Broadbill

The Long-tailed broadbill (Psarisomus dalhousiae) is a species of bird that is found in the Himalayas. The long-tailed broadbill has a body length of 20-28cm and a weight of 47-79g. The long wedge-shaped tail is blue, the throat and face are yellow, and the crown and nape are black. Wings black with prominent blue spots. There is a small blue spot on the top of the head and a yellow spot behind the eyes. Long-tailed broadbills are tropical forest-dwelling birds, usually inhabiting evergreen broad-leaved forests at an altitude of 880-1500 meters.
